First offender can apply to almost any charge, as long as it is non-violent. If you receive First Offender probation on a drug offense, your driver’s license won’t be suspended. After you successfully complete your First Offender Probation, the conviction will not show up on your record.
However, should you receive any sort of violation while on probation, the judge can revoke the first offender plea.
